Hotel Gran Roc - Sestriere

Very nice view from the balcony every morning.

Private parking on its premises provided. The room was brand-new and good sized with large comfortable beds, balcony, for example, good service. Location close to La Cioca restaurant, Sestriere, and slopes...

Its location was incredible and great, in the middle of the city, and in a central area. The place had a family atmosphere.

The staff were friendly and the breakfast offered a great variety of options. We loved the ski room with boot driers.

We occasionally encountered noise from neighboring rooms during the night.

The shuttle service was efficient. Our room had an very nice view directly overlooking the ski runs. Breakfast offered a large selection of options. The bar had a pleasant ambiance for evening relaxation. A comfortable and enjoyable stay ☕

While the overall experience was positive, with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere, it would have been nice to have more variety in the dinner options. The noise from other rooms was a bit bothersome at night, but the charm of the place made it enjoyable overall.

The hotel features heated secure parking, a lifesaver in colder months. The ski room, equipped with boot driers, is perfectly set up to keep gear organized and dry after a long day on the slopes.

While the breakfast is decent, you might find the lack of vegetable options somewhat disappointing, especially if you're looking for a lighter start in the morning. Noise can be an issue. You'll hear sounds from neighboring rooms and the lobby that could keep a light sleeper from getting quality rest. And don't bother expecting much variety on the dinner menu during peak times, as choices can be pretty limited when the volume of guests increases. And only one coffee-making machine during busy breakfast times isn't ideal-it caused a bit of a bottleneck on more than one occasion.

The room was a good size for two, with a large and super comfy bed. Plenty of space to stash away all our ski gear, a huge plus. Also loved having boot driers in the ski room, made life way easier after a long day on the slopes. But you might hear some noise from other rooms now and then.

The room had a lovely design, but the shower leaked onto the bathroom floor.

The family room was spacious and comfy, with a sofa bed for kids. The bathroom had a bidet and nice toiletries. Breakfast included freshly baked pastries and a variety of juices, and the dinner buffet was excellent with plenty to choose from.

The staff were really good too ensure a pleasant experience. The hotel recently renovated its interiors. I enjoyed the amazing mountain view from my room.

The breakfast was top quality for all tastes, and the food was excellent! the location was unbeatable, just a 5-minute walk from a popular ski resort, definitely worth coming back to.
